Originally from Winnipeg, Leslie began playing the harp at 15. She then moved to Toronto to study the harp with acclaimed harpist, Judy Loman. Leslie has a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto. From there, she formed a jazz trio and then had the wonderful fortune of working alongside singer/musicians like Aretha Franklin and Natalie Cole when they appeared in Toronto. Ms. McInnis also toured with ‘Phantom of The Opera’ musical in addition to performing in ‘Beauty & The Beast’.
Returning to her favorite city in 2007, Leslie has continued to enrapture audiences and create an ambiance of ease and elegance at more than a thousand weddings, events, and fundraisers in Winnipeg with her extensive arrangement of classical, popular, celtic and jazz musical styles.
